You killed my duck!

Yays!! Thanks to bellatonks and all her lovely fun birthday gifts, I got bitten by the beading bug yet again, and that allowed me to make some new things! So there is now new stock at my etsy shop! Check them out and let me know what you think. :)

LOL, just watching Hot Fuzz after a very long day at home. And, I just figured out that 'Mary' from the pub is 'Marsha' from Spaced! I laughed so hard when I realized! God I love Simon & Nick, they're friggin hilarious.

And if you guys love Hot Fuzz as much as I do, there's an Easter Egg to view additional fence-jumping scenes. Apparently you're supposed to highlight 'Languages' on the first menu and hit left 3 times and then right once. But my DVD player is kind of crap and I haven't had a chance to try it out on a good one yet.

Anyway, watched Ghostbusters and Moonstruck earlier today. Made a bracelet, necklace and earrings set from some beads I got from Michaels last night and they're so purdy. They're for me though... I always make stuff to sell but this time, I'm keeping this stuff.

Hockey's on now and I'm all bored because I wanted to RP but everyone I need to RP with isn't online *headdesk* bleh, it's always the case. Makes me frustrated. *sigh*

But, have a good Thanksgiving to all the Canadians! *hugs*

Oh... what a weekend! Was insanely busy but so much fun! Went up to Kitchener for a stag and doe for some friends and we had a total blast. Lots of great live music, people I haven't met yet, people I've only spoken to briefly and I had a chance to talk with them more! Lots of great opportunities.

AND SUSHI WITH FRIENDS! wOOO! Saturday we slept in, went to Williams coffee pub for breakfast and showed Ray the love that is an iced chai latte! mmmmmm Hung out at the mall for a while and I didn't buy anything *shock*!! Then 5 o'clock at Ye's Sushi with Leslie and Ryan! It was so good... I've never eaten two sets of California rolls before, I think it's the wasabi that's messing me up! Oh well, it was so good, and we had great company!

So, I've told bellatonks that in October we should all go out with our hubbies to the Amakara for dual anniversary dinners!!! And Ray will probably be wolfing down salmon, which is good because since this is our 5 year anniversary coming up, his warranty will run out.

Anyway, RPing is going ok on greatestjournal, I have NO idea how long that will last *rolls eyes* seems there's always something going on and I can't wait until Darkest Hour starts up *dances around anxiously and pokes bellatonks*

So, I'm very happy to say that I managed to remember to put a reminder on my digital cable for 'Spaced'! Thank you bellatonks and shadowhawck... cause that paintball number, KILLED me!!

Do I need to say how much I love Simon Pegg?? And how funny he and Nick Frost are?? I think Sunday is going to be dedicated to me, screencaps of Hot Fuzz, and some crazy ass icon making because my 'Jog On' Icon is looooooooong overdue!

Plus, I need to pull away from 'The X-Files' otherwise I'll get a canker sore on my tongue from so many sunflower seeds.... Damn you Mulder

Ray and I have been talking on the phone all night to our friend Matt... which seems really strange to me (not that we're talking to him forever, no) that he called on the same day that I ran into his ex today. I didn't say anything to her but ... if I had the desire to make a scene in a very public restaurant, she would've gotten more than an earful. I'm still grrrring over the fact that I knew she was gonna screw him over but couldn't say anything. *headdesks* and that's exactly what happened.

But I digress... tomorrow, we're going to Burlington to see some friends!!! Yays! They were Ray's friends from college and I think I've kind of been adopted, lol It's the Rez 1st annual 11th year reunion! LOL if that makes sense? But I can't wait to see them again. When Ray and I were dating, we'd go up there to see them at least once a month and I've missed them so much... everyone's so busy it gets very hard to keep in touch, even with e-mail and IMing and everything. But this will be good.... especially with Jer probably going to bug the absolute crap out of Jules! lol, last time he did it by text message, which was quite funny to see!!

Anyway, god I ramble on about stuff. I think I need some mini wheats wheats wheats! ;)

Ugh, I feel like a college student, skipping class or something to stay inside on a humid day to just watch movies!

LOL, well it was Ray's birthday yesterday, and I baked him a pie!! :D It was actually really good too and he had two huge pieces last night and I think I might partake very soon! But today we've been lying around watching movies. Probably will be the same tomorrow too. Might take screencaps of Titus tomorrow but definitely some from Hot Fuzz! I need my 'jog on' icon.

Hey all, yes, this is my fandom journal and it's been a long time coming.

I think though, I should explain the name of the journal. You see, I get attached to characters in TV, movies, books very easily and when they get killed off, it makes me miserable. So everytime this happens, friends of mind take one look at me and say 'you look like your duck just died'....and in most cases, if the character could be considered my duck, it has died.

Everyone keeps killing my ducks and I've had to put a couple people 'on notice' for doing so. Not happy with J.K. Rowling or Joss Whedon right now (even though Joss is my hero, I'm still upset). Because both of them ...killed my duck.

So there you have it, the lore behind the journal. ;)
